The Incredible Edible (and drinkable).............. Watermelon!


Watermelon is not only delicious, it is also packed with major health benefits as well. Recent studies have shown that the juice from a watermelon can relieve post-exercise muscle soreness. Watermelon is also rich in vitamins C and B. Packed with potassium, and even a rich source of calcium. In the United States it is available year round with the peak production in May, June, July, and  August. Drink up!
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Slice the watermelon in half. Slice the halves into strips and remove any seeds. Add to a blender.
2) Blend until pulvarized (about a minute). Squeeze the juice of one whole lime and blend for a few seconds. Pour into a pitcher or glasses over ice.
