I've spent some time vacationing in The West Indies, more specifically Barbados, even more specifically the glorious Sandy Lane. But, as they say "that was then and this is now". Considering that not many of us are even entertaining the idea of any little jaunts over to the West Indies, it seems that the the lovely folks over at Talking Rain want to bring a bit of the West Indies right here to us.
West Indies Lime is one of the 6 very cool flavors from beverage company Talking Rain. I did find this beverage to be refreshing, crisp, and very smooth with a tropical-ish kind of a vibe. It was a cross between sweet and tart, and not in the least bit overpowering or strong. As a matter of fact if you happen to be a key lime pie lover this could be just the drink for you, not to mention 9 calories per serving versus probably 500 per slice of that pie definitely works for me. Lastly, I'm guessing that the fact that it's 100% organic is the reason why it has absolutely no after taste. No sodium and no added sweeteners make this drink an all around winner! So if Sandy Lane isn't on your immediate things to do list, perhaps a little Twist will do. If you can't find Twist in your area, here is a link on Amazon Twist Lightly Flavored Water, West Indies Lime, 19-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 12)or you can also get retail as well as product locater information at www.drinktwist.com
