Spring Cleaning Your closet:
1) Be brave! Discard any clothing that no longer fits, is worn out, outdated, and or looks like its seen its better days.
2) Replace any wire hangers from the cleaners with wooden, plastic, and or satin padded ones.
3) Check for anything that needs to visit the dry cleaner (keep an eye out for any soiling) and prepare them for departure.
4) If you haven't worn it in 2 years and it is still in good shape, donate it!
5) Do not hang knits by their shoulders on hanger(they will stretch out ) Either fold them over on the hanger, or on a shelf or in a drawer.
6) Separate blouses, skirts, dresses, pants, etc, Then put all like colors together.
7) Keep a lint brush, small iron, and sewing kit nearby incase of a fashion emergency, and always remind yourself to protect your sweaters (as well as all winter fabrics/wool/cashmere/etc.) Purchase cedar chip, bars, etc, and keep in mind that dry cleaning will also protect your garments.
8) If at all possible add lighting.
9) Now that you can actually see what's in your closet, make a list of what you need.
10) Reward time- Go shopping!
