A sweet & spicy mix makes this a truly addictive snack!
Ingredients for 9 cups :
.6 tbs butter
.2 tbs brown sugar
.1 1/2 teaspoons anco chile powder
.1/4 tsp liquid smoke
.9 cups popped popcorn
.1/4 tsp paprika
.1/3 tsp onion powder
.1/4 tsp kosher salt
Preparation:
Step 1. In a small saucepan melt butter, stir in brown sugar, ancho chile powder, and liquid smoke.
Step 2. Simmer on low for 2 minutes; remove from heat.
Step 3. In a large bowl combine popcorn, melted butter mixture, paprika, onion powder, and kosher salt. Toss to coat. Serve.
